Houston Astros pitcher, Justin Verlander, who happens to be married to model Kate Upton, is donating his weekly MLB salary to coronavirus causes. Yes, the players are still getting paid despite there being no games right now. Each week, the couple will choose a different charity and announce them on their pages. Justion got signed to a 2-year $66mil extension so if you break that down it’s about $634k per week. If he donates it for 2 months it will be about $5mil or more. (A lot of people are praising him on this, but most of twitter just says that he’s still a cheater).

Robert F. Kennedy’s granddaughter, Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean and her 8-year old son Gideon were reported missing Thursday after canoeing out near Annapolis, MD. According to her husband, David, they have passed away. David said that his family was self-quarantining at Maeve’s mother’s home on Chesapeake Bay and the mom and son were playing a game of kickball and the ball went into the water. They got a canoe to go get the ball and David believes that the canoe got pushed by either the tide or the wind into the bay.
He said, “It is clear that Maeve and Gideon have passed away. It has been more than 24 hours, and the chances they have survived are impossibly small.” Dating back to the two assassinations of JFK and RFK the family has enduring countless tragedies.
