Garth Brooks Describes His Quarantine Grocery Store Visits
Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood are like all of us; they’re at home getting through the COVID-19 quarantine.
Brooks said he does enjoy one of life’s most simple things, “I can’t tell you how much I love going to the grocery store. Now they have aisles that go one way and X’s on others so…people don’t have to cross each other. They have the lines, of course, at the checkout…they have stickers there saying, ‘Don’t take two or more of this’ because of this. Just beautiful stuff, man. And everybody’s…everybody’s being really sweet.”
They aren’t the only ones being sweet – so is Garth, as he looks ahead with hope to the moment he and others can return to the concert stage. He says, “You’re kind of up to what individual states govern…so we’ve got to follow the rules that they want, of course. But trust me – the second that they let us go, we’ll do it.”
Brooks’ stadium tour will resume when everything gets back to normal. His website notes that, as of now, the first date is scheduled to play out at Bank of America Stadium in on June 13.
