Blake Shelton Donates $150,000 To Oklahoma Food Bank

Blake Shelton has donated $150,00 to his local food bank in Oklahoma where he and Gwen Stefani have been quarantining together for the last several weeks during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Jessica Schambach of KOCO TV Oklahoma posted a video of Blake to her Twitter in which Shelton said, “You know a lot of Oklahomans are going to be going to bed hungry tonight and that’s not something that I can live with and that’s why I’m going to be donating to my regional food bank and Oklahoma food bank and I hope you will join me and help from home and send in that donation because alot of people out there are counting on us.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
