Darius Rucker: Don Shula Was A ‘Giant In My Childhood’
Darius Rucker, as his fans know, is a huge football fan, and he loves the Miami Dolphins.
Darius took to his Instagram this morning after learning of yesterday’s (5/4) passing of Don Shula, who coached the Miami Dolphins from 1970 -1995.
Darius wrote, “Don Shula was a Giant of my childhood. He was the best football coach I have ever seen. He was also one of the kindest nicest gentleman the world has ever seen. Thanks Coach Shues for my favorite sports moments. U gave me most of them. Love u Coach. My heart goes out to your family.”
Shula died yesterday (5/4) at the age of 90.
