The Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia is a three-Michelin-starred restaurant - very highly rated by patrons. And they have a plan to "make things less awkward" while social distancing guests when they re-open. The restaurant plans to fill the gaps where people can't sit due to social-distancing with well-dressed mannequins.
Chef Patrick O’Connell thinks the mannequins will make guests feel a buzz in the dining room, without actual people. Is this the future? And what planet am I living on. "Less awkward?" Umm... how about the opposite. Creeeeeppppyyyyyyy. But definitely Instagram-friendly for weird out-to-eat pictures!
