UPDATE: Bidding For Robert Kraft’s Super Bowl 51 Championship Ring Now Over $1 Million
Robert Kraft has donated his Super Bowl 51 championship ring for the ALL IN Challenge. The ring is being auctioned off to the highest bidder with the money going toward feeding those in need. Super Bowl 51 featured the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history as the Patriots came back from a 28-3 deficit with 6:03 left in the third quarter to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28.
Opening bid was set at $75,000. This morning bidding had jumped to $330,000. I just checked and as of the posting of this article the current bid is now $650,000, a little outside most of our price ranges unfortunately. But that’s a lot of money doing good in the. fight against food insecurity!
UPDATE: Two days after I originally posted this story, bids for the ring are already over a million dollars. Current high bid (as of right now) is $1,025,000.
Bidding closes May 21st at 9pm so there’s still plenty of time for the bids to continue to rise.
