Mark your calendar: this Saturday night at 8 pm ET, Luke Bryan is hosting a special a three-hour show that will air on our station:  “BMI Presents: A Salute To The Songwriters – Benefiting The MusiCares COVID 19 Relief Fund.”

Natalie Hemby is among the writers who will be featured; Natalie’s songwriting credits include “Pontoon” from Little Big Town “White Liar” from Miranda Lambert, “Rainbow” from Kacey Musgraves, “Heartache Medication” from Jon Pardi “Always Remember Us This Way” from Lady Gaga (A Star is Born).

Hemby is a member of the Highwomen, a country music group twith Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires. In 2017, she released her first studio album, Puxico, named after the Missouri town where her grandfather lived, via the label GetWrucke Productions which she runs with her husband, music producer Mike Wrucke.

In 2014, she won the Nashville Songwriters Association International Awards “Song of the Year” honor for Miranda’s “Automatic” as well as the 2015 Academy of Country Music “Song of the Year” also for “Automatic.”
