Company Designs Protective “Space Suit” For Concert Goers
There is no doubt, one of the things we miss the most, in our new life of living with a pandemic, is going to concerts. I mean, it’s summer… it’s country music.
A company has designed a suit to wear at concerts to keep us safe from any virus. It’s said to be a cross between “the Hazmat suits worn in Outbreak and Mr. Freeze’s outfit in Batman and Robin,” according to the company designers.
The Micrashell also has a helmet, it’s own filtration system and LED accent lights for added bling. It even has a place for your drink! Miguel Risueno, who is the head of inventions at the Production Club in CA, says “It’s a half suit that kind of takes your safety and your security in terms of being close to airborne particle or viruses to the next level.”
Don’t start your Amazon search yet, though. The company has only made a prototype of the Micrashell, so far. But, if it was somewhat affordable, would you consider wearing it? Or will you wait until a vaccine and we can return to the days of festival shorts, cowboy boots and tank tops?
