You Can Now Buy One of Boston Dynamics’s Creepy Robot Dogs
The future is now. You can now own one of those creepy marching robot-dogs you’ve seen on the news that Boston Dynamics has been developing. They can do all sorts of things like walk, climb stairs and open doors. Plus they’re non-allergenic and don’t need to go out to use the facilities at 3 in the morning and if you’re going on a trip just power them down and leave them home.
The robot-dogs cost a mere *gulp* $75,000 and if you want to purchase one you have to agree not to arm them or intentionally use them as weapons.
The terms and conditions of sale state: “Spot is an amazing robot, but is not certified safe for in-home use or intended for use near children or others who may not appreciate the hazards associated with its operation.”
