WATCH: Kane Brown Makes History At BET Awards Performing Worldwide Beautiful
Last night Kane Brown once again made history. He has a history of doing that.
Remember when Kane set the Guinness World Record for topping all five U.S. country charts simultaneously? He was the first country act to accomplish this feat.
Last night, the singer/songwriter did it again. This time he made history by being the first ever black male solo country artist to perform at the BET Awards. Brown shared the legendy Ryman Auditorium stage in Nashville with gospel singer, Jonathan McReynolds.
The 2020 BET Awards ceremony provided some much needed inspiration late in the show last night with a virtual concert to an empty house, due to the pandemic.
McReynolds took the stage first, performing “People”with just an acoustic guitar and his mic. Other musicians came into our view shortly after, playing in the balcony above Jonathan, and came into the light in the stage behind him.
Watch as McReynolds walks off the stage and fades out… The camera moves to another stage, and fades in to Kane Brown, and his socially distanced band behind him, who delivers a beautiful and goose-bump worthy performance of his new single, “Worldwide Beautiful.”
