Blake Shelton Reacts To Garth Brooks CMA Announcement
Earlier today, Garth Brooks announced (7/29) that he would remove himself from the CMA’s Entertainer of the Year category, to give other performers a chance to win the honor. Blake Shelton reacted to a tweet by Garth’s longtime friend Steve Wariner.
Steve posted to Twitter, “If you’ve ever seen @garthbrooks live, you know why he consistently wins entertainer of the year. There is no one as big as Garth, but more importantly there is no one as kind.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of.
