Kane Brown Sets The Record Straight On Getting Lost
Kane Brown wants to set the record straight about the recently — and widely — reported story, about him getting lost on his own property (8/11).
Kane told us, “I’m glad you asked me that ’cause it’s been pissing me off a lot lately. That was a year ago. Everybody on the news keeps saying that I got lost on 30 acres of property, which actually [borders on] two thousand acres; I just own thirty acres of it! So all of these people have been trying to make me sound stupid, but I went outside for thirty minutes and a lot of stuff happened that wasn’t reported in one of those interviews.”
While Brown would not elaborate on what else happened when he lost his way. “I’m not gonna say anything else but if you do quote anything just make sure you say there was two thousand acres.”
He added after we teased him about needing a map, “No I don’t need a map anymore I know where I’m at.”
The story broke a little over a week ago when Kane told Jana Kramer in an interview that he got lost on his property when he just moved in. The story took off from there with People and many other outlets (including us) writing about the venture where Brown and some friends got lost for over three hours and had to call police.
