HBO Max already has the upcoming highly-anticipated Friends reunion... and now they have us anticipating another newly announced reunion special. HBO Max has announced that it will be home to a Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion, in honor of the show's 30th anniversary. 30 years.... wow....
According to a press release, the reunion will be "an unscripted special looking back at the series and the cultural impact the series has had since its debut."
Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Alfonso Ribeiro will all be part of the reunion, as well as recurring co-star DJ Jazzy Jeff. Star James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, sadly died of complications from open-heart surgery in 2014.
The reunion will tape on the actual 30th anniversary of the premiere of the series - September 10th - and will premiere on HBO Max sometime right around Thanksgiving.
