It was the catch of a lifetime for 18 year-old Jake Hewitt of Fitchburg. He and his friend Max Bogdanovich (a commercial lobsterman and tuna fisherman) reeled in a 112 inch, 800 pound monster blue fin tuna off the coast of Maine on Saturday.
The fish took 2-and-a-half hours to pull in and the two fishermen actually had to transfer to another boat because the beast of a fish was too heavy for 2 people to get up and into the boat.
Just look at this thing. It gives me heavy doses of fishing envy:
