Mickey Guyton’s Powerful ACM Awards Performance
Last week Mickey Guyton was on the ACM stage performing her song What Are You Gonna Tell Her? and it stuck in people’s memory long after the show ended.
The song is featured on her new EP, which was released on September 11th. Between the lyrics and the standalone piano, it’s bound to take your breath away. This is a song that’s important for more reason than one, and Country 102.5 was proud to be one of the first stations to play it earlier this year.
Our own Carolyn Kruse says, “It generated such an immediate and overwhelming reaction… the likes of which I haven’t experienced often in my career.”
