Dolly Parton Plans To Cover Playboy At 75
Dolly Parton is still planning to pose for Playboy on her 75th birthday in January of 2021. Dolly told Australia’s 60 Minutes in March of 2020 that she was thinking about the idea of posing once again in the men’s magazine as she did back in 1978.
Parton told Aussie correspondent Tom Steinfort, “Well, I don’t plan to retire. I just turned 74, [and] I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine.”
A 32-year old Dolly first graced the cover of Hugh Hefner’s iconic men’s mag back in 1978. The cover featured the superstar sporting serious cleavage in the signature Playboy bunny costume — ears, bow-tie, cuffs and all.
Dolly revealed over the weekend (10/3) that she indeed is in talks with Playboy to pose for the iconic magazine to celebrate her 75th birthday.
She told the BBC’s Scott Mills & Chris Stark show, “Yeah, I just might do it, if I can do it in good taste and they want it [and] we’ll do it along with a really good interview inside. So, yeah, we’ve talked about it.”
