Apple unveiled its new iPhone 12's today during a live event hosted from Apple Park, watched by millions around the globe.
The takeaways:
- The iPhone 12's have 5G cellular connectivity and a new Super Retina XDR OLED screen
- It's designed with a ceramic shield that greatly improves toughness - I just spiderwebbed my phone a couple weeks ago so I'm listening...
- Apple also announced a new iPhone 12 Mini which features all the technology of the iPhone 12, but has a 5.4 inch screen - "the smallest and lightest 5G phone in the world"
- 4 variations: iPhone 12, iPhone Mini, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Max
Apple’s iPhone 12 mini is priced starting at $699, and will be available in five color options: blue, green, black, white, and red, Preorders for the iPhone 12 mini will begin on November 6th at 5AM PT / 8AM ET, with the handset shipping on November 13th.
