NASA & Nokia Are Building a 4G Network… on the Moon
Soon you’ll be able to scroll Instagram… on the moon. NASA and Nokia have teamed up to bring 4G to the moon. The network is aimed to launch by 2022.
It will be used for functions like navigation systems, controlling lunar rovers, and streaming high-definition video. It’s the next step in creating a permanent moon base – which will be eventually used to get a human to Mars. That’s when we become homies with the aliens.
