Pack Your Bags: Arkansas Is Offering Up Big Bucks To Move There
Want $10,000 and a new mountain bike? Great. All you have to do is move to Northwest Arkansas.
Officials say they are trying to capitalize on the fact that more employers are allowing people to work remotely.
“Northwest Arkansas is a great place to work, live and play: for recent grads, families, career changers, entrepreneurs, artists and more,” says a statement on their website.
“We’re offering top remote working talent – maybe you? – a $10,000 cash incentive to move to the region. The funds will help with everything you need to set up your new life in Northwest Arkansas.”
Northwest Arkansas is rated as one of the best places to live in the U.S. because of its low cost of living and outdoor activities.
Other cities including Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Topeka, Kansas have launched similar initiatives.
