2020 is the Year Without a Holiday Tree For Faneuil Hall
This afternoon the Faneuil Hall Marketplace announced that due to guidelines on indoor and outdoor gatherings due to COVID-19, there will be no tree this holiday season at Faneuil Hall in Boston. The 85-foot fir usually is on display at the far end of Faneuil Hall.
In a release the Marketplace said “This year, the holiday season will look somewhat different at the Marketplace due to the coronavirus pandemic and the regulations issued by state and local authorities limiting the size of outdoor gatherings.”
The Faneuil Hall ‘Blink!’ light and sound program will be suspended for this year as well.
