Morgan Wallen To Play ‘Saturday Night Live’ Next Month

Morgan Wallen is getting his second shot at playing Saturday Night Live. 

Earlier today, he tweeted SNL‘s photo announcing that he will be the musical guest on December 5. The host will be Jason Bateman.

Wallen was originally scheduled to make his SNL debut on October 10 but was cut from the show due to his breaking COVID-19 protocols very publicly, when he spent weekend partying in Alabama and posting; videos of his weekend were posted on social media.

“My actions this past weekend were pretty short-sighted and they have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams,” Wallen said at the time.. “I respect the show’s decision because I know that I put them in jeopardy, and I take ownership for this.”
