Over 750,000 Pounds of Hot Pockets Recalled – Check Your Freezer For These Varieties/Dates!!
Hot Pockets are being recalled because they may contain “extraneous materials.” What the heck are “extraneous materials??” GLASS!!! I don’t think anyone really wants a broken glass Hot Pocket – no matter how hungry you are.
Nestle Prepared Foods announced the Hot Pocket recall, which affects over 760,000 pounds of Hot Pockets, saying they could contain “extraneous materials” like glass and hard plastics.
So the big question is: what Hot Pockets are being recalled? Check your freezer for pepperoni Hot Pockets that were packed in 54-ounce cartons containing 12 Hot Pockets with an expiration date of February 2022. The label reads “Nestlé Hot Pockets Brand Sandwiches: Premium Pepperoni Made With Pork, Chicken & Beef Pizza Garlic Buttery Crust.” If you find those in your freezer dispose of them or return them at your point of purchase.
The recalled Hot Pockets were produced from Nov. 13 to Nov. 16 and shipped to stores across the country, the Food Safety and Inspection Service said.
