Darius Rucker Pays The Tab For Everyone At An IHOP And Leaves A Large Tip!
Well alright! If this doesn’t flip your flap jack, I don’t know what will.
One of our favorite guys in country music, Darius Rucker, paid it forward recently, and paid the bill for everyone at one of his favorite spots! Needless to say, they were all flipped out, including the servers who were left a very generous tip.
Darius, a South Carolina native, often dines at the Mount Pleasant iHop. The other day, after finishing his meal, he inquired with the manager, Stephen Vitale, about treating everyone in the restaurant to a free meal. Vitale said it was a full house at the time. He added up the bill and the Grammy Award winner quietly paid it, and left a “very generous” tip for the servers to share, according to Vitale. He added that “it caused a lot of excitement.” Apparently many of the patrons didn’t even recognize the country star, as he was wearing a mask when he wasn’t eating.
Vitale went on to say, “It was a good morning at iHop!”
