Fran Goldman is 90 years-old and she really wanted her COVID-19 vaccine. She wanted it so badly that she walked 6 miles in the snow... at 90 years-old to get it.
Fran had an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine this past Sunday - an appointment that took weeks to get. But the day before, a winter storm made it impossible to get her car from the driveway. So... she hoofed it!
She made the six-mile trek through snow and slush on foot to and from the clinic to get her shot. That's determination. Way to go Fran!
For her sake we hope the weather is a little nicer when she goes back for the second dose.
