Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris have written together and have sung on each other's records, but they've never had a song together.
Another surprising fact is that they didn't write "Chasing After You," but that shows how special it is to them. Maren mentions that they've loved it for five or six years, "it's sort of the demo that wouldn't quit for us." They heard themselves in the lyrics, and it still rings true today.
