Have you seen this?

The story goes that an LA CEO was so thankful the Red Sox sent our beloved Mookie Betts to the Dodgers, helping them clinch the World Series in 2020, that he just had to tell us.
Ouch, that hurt.
Mookie was instrumental in the title, having blasted a home run in Game 6, in the 8th inning.
That CEO is Alex Soto. His company, the Los Angeles based Pantone 294, organizes Dodgers fans road trips throughout the country, to watch the team play. He told boston.com, ” It’s all fun and games. We just wanted to say thank you. We know everyone here in Boston loves Mookie as well. So we just wanted to make sure that we have something in common. We all appreciate Mookie Betts.”
Soto commissioned the billboard. After ironing out the details on design and waiting for approval, he flew to Boston yesterday to unveil the billboard. You’ll find it on Brookline Ave, above Sal’s Pizza.
That just seems like a lot of money and effort to say thank you and add insult to injury for us Sox fans. The sting is still there.
