If you've ever wanted to watch lava flow from a volcano in real time, you'll want to check this out: you can watch a newly opened fissure on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland. Scientists put up a webcam and are streaming it live on YouTube. It's not a dramatic eruption, but it's still cool to watch.

The fissure is located on the southwestern part of the island and the slowly flowing lava has drawn local spectators, along with scientists collecting samples and researching the eruption.

Volcanologist Evgenia Ilyinskaya Tweeted, "A small fissure eruption on #Reykjanes with a fantastic crater shape. We were out sampling all day 1/m."
