Nashville In A State Of Emergency With Deadly Flooding

One of our favorite cities in the world, and the home of country music, just can't catch a break.

Nashville has seen more than it's share of devastation and tragedy as of late. Today the city is recovering from a deadly flood. Heavy rains have our beloved Music City in a state of emergency.

Last year the tornado that hit just before the pandemic wreaked havoc on the city. That was followed by deadly windstorms, and a Christmas morning bombing.

The past few days have seen heavy rain and thunderstorms that caused massive damage and killed four. According to the Nashville Fire Department, more than one hundred people have been rescued.

Flood warnings remain in effect in Nashville, for the Cumberland River, and other waterways in central and west Tennessee.

Of course, our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those killed, and our prayers go out for all the first responders, who have worked tirelessly.
