A $2 Lottery Ticket lead to $10,000 Jackpot Winner

Mika Lewis of Kansas was on her way to an appointment to get her tires changed. She was a little early for the appointment, so she stopped into a store to pick up some scratch-off lottery tickets.

According to upi.com, one of her tickets, a $2 game, turned out to be a $10,000 prize winner. She stated,

“I was sitting in the waiting room at the tire shop when I scratched off the ticket. At first I just assumed I was looking at the ticket wrong. There’s no way I won that much. But eventually, after checking and double checking, I started to realize that it was real and I had won!”

Her and a worker at the automobile shop couldn’t believe it!

Mika plans to use the winnings towards a vacation with her family and then put the rest in savings.
