Rascal Flatts Want Their Kids To “Pick Their Own Path”
With seven children at home, Rascal Flatts is no stranger to family life.
Having superstar parents like Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay DeMarcus, it’s hard not to feel like you also need to get into Country music.
Jay recently revealed that he wants his kids to pick their own path and destiny. He’d be happy if his kids love Country music and wanted to pursue it, but would also be happy if they chose another genre to pursue. “I think they should be exposed to all the possibilities out there,” he says.
Gary expressed how his daughters Brooklyn and Brittany share a similar upbringing as him with Country, Blue Grass, and Gospel as their musical foundation. He jokes that “they didn’t have a chose when daddy had the radio on,” but now when they do have a choice they always seem to go back to Country.
