Boston Police Lieutenant Sings To Cheer Up His Best Friend
Listen to this Boston police lieutenant sing to cheer up his best friend
What would we do without friends? Think about it. The people closest in your life would do anything for you!
They’d probably pick you up from a bar late at night, they’d probably get in a fist fight for you! But best friends? They sing to each other!
At least that’s been the case for these two best friends.
Tina Santoro Asmat got COVID-19 right before her appointment to get the vaccine, and for the past three weeks she’s been hospitalized with COVID-19 inside Newton-Wellesley hospital.
It’s been a tough road to recovery. She’s on a ventilator. She’s stuck on a hospital bed. No one can visit her. And it’s been over 3 weeks of this.
But there is something Tina can look forward to every day. A text from her best friend, Boston police Lt. Gary Eblan.
The two have been friends since the first grade. Every day Lt. Gary sends Tina a video message of him singing an uplifting song to make her smile. And every time he changes the lyrics so it includes her in some way.
Ok, it’s not American Idol material, but you know what? It makes his best friend Tina smile, and because of the videos, her spirit are up and her condition is improving.
So shoutout to Lt Gary for doing this for his best friend, and shoutout to all the besties out there. Make sure you give him or her a call today and make them smile!
