Boston Children’s Museum to Reopen for First Time Since December
The Boston Children’s Museum is opening it’s doors for the first time since December.
In a statement posted to their official site, the Museum announced that it will reopen to the public again in May on Saturdays and Sundays. Beginning June 2nd, the schedule will expand to Wednesday-Sunday hours. The two new time slots will be 9:00am–12:00pm and 1:30–4:30pm.
“The past year has been stressful for everyone, especially for children who need time to play, explore, and discover in order to stay mentally and physically healthy. With this in mind, we are launching our ‘Summer of Play’ to emphasize just how important it is to recover the sense of joy and wonder that comes from play,” reads the website.
‘Summer of Play’ will offer families a variety of hands-on activities that include access to all Museum exhibits including the New Balance Foundation Climb, a new Fantastic Forts exhibit, PlaySpace, our new Turtle Tank, and more. In addition, the Museum is also offering its first ever ‘Explore It Summer Camp’ during the month of July.
