Brad Paisley To Get ‘Father of The Year’ Honor
Brad Paisley has been dubbed as one of the National Father’s Day Committee’s Father of Year recipients this year. Also getting the honor this year is Wolverine World Wide, Inc., Chairman/CEO Blake Krueger.
The two will receive their honors alongside Pfizer Chairman/CEO Dr. Albert Bourla, who will accept the award on behalf of all Pfizer employees.
The Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council said in a press release, “We are honored to have Blake Krueger and Brad Paisley join Dr. Albert Bourla for this year’s Father of the Year Awards. In these incredibly trying times, we are grateful to have the opportunity to honor the work Blake and Brad have done in leading their respective communities through the pandemic, including Blake’s resilience in navigating unprecedented economic and business environments and Brad’s philanthropic efforts and commitment to virtually connecting with fans.”
Paisley is being recognized for co-founding The Store, a free referral-based grocery store that aims to empower low-income individuals and families in the Nashville area, in addition to his success in country music.
Brad and Kimberly Williams-Paisley are parents to two sons: Huck, 14, and Jasper, 12.
The 79th Annual Father of the Year Awards will be presented virtually on Thursday, June 17 (7pm ET). Father’s Day is Sunday, June 20.
