A LEGO ‘Friends’ Apartment Set Is Coming Soon!
The popularity of the tv show Friends is never going to “be on a break.”
Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe live on in reruns, streaming and now LEGOs!
LEGO has announced that a 2,048 piece Friends apartment kit will be available on June 1. There will be 2 main New York City apartments, and plenty of references to the individual shows through the pieces. There’s the giant poking device that was used to check on the “Ugly Naked Guy,” there’s the “meat-sweats” Thanksgiving turkey, and of course Ross’s famous leather pants.
The toy company already had released their Central Perk set and now we have this to look forward to.
Wait, aren’t LEGOs supposed to be for kids? This is clearly marketed to the Friends generation, aka “big kids.”
