Brett Young – Life As A Bartender Before Music

This may come as a surprise to some, but did you know before his music career took off Brett Young was a bartender?

That's right! And its actually a funny story...

Turns out he became a bartender when his friend lied for him to get into it. Brett knew a guy that worked on a cruise ship, which needed to be fully stocked before the next departure. His friend said, “I know you’re just a waiter and you’ve never bartended, but if you help me stock this boat – I’m talking chairs, tables, liquor, everything, I’ll just lie to them for you and tell them that you bartended before.”

Before he knew it, Brett was bartending for weddings the rest of that summer out in California.
