Ice Cream and Wine? Yes Please!
After a year of doing nothing, this summer is all about getting as much living in as possible. And what says “enjoying your summer” more than having a drink and a dessert at the same time?
Wine Floats are blowing up all over the internet. They’ve been around for awhile now, but this summer Wine Floats are having a moment!
It’s pretty much what you would expect. Pour a glass of wine. Add some ice cream. Maybe a little fruit or garnish. And serve!
While the basic wine and ice cream float is pretty simple to make, Instagram and Pinterest have gone wild with ways to spruce it up and make your Wine Float and Insta-worthy moment
Wine makes you seem like a classy adult?
Would you think I’m classy if I told you I discussed low-yield bonds with a stranger at a museum last weekend? What if I said I stayed home and ate pizza in my underwear? Less classy?

- Being able to discuss different types of wine, or things like scotch, 35%.
- Wearing expensive clothes, 33%.
- Going to museums, 31%.
- Being able to discuss current events, 31%.

The poll also found we start to appreciate the “finer things” in life at age 26. But we start dabbling in them a little earlier than that.
At 24, we start thinking weird cheeses AREN’T that gross. And the average person starts drinking wine at 23, but it takes another two years before we actually appreciate it. And 42% admitted they’ve bought a bottle just because the label looked nice.
