Krispy Kreme Looking To Give Boston Area Another Shot
Krispy Kreme opened a location in Medford back in 2003, then six other locations – all of which closed for good by 2007. Well according to a report by the Boston Business Journal Krispy Kreme is once again considering expansion into the Boston market. In a filing Tuesday the company raised the possibility of a Boston/New England expansion several times.
Currently the closest Krispy Kreme to Boston is at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The company announced seven locations across Maine and New Hampshire in 2016 but only ended up opening two locations in Maine, both of which closed before the pandemic.
