Here comes the June moon! It's also known as the "Strawberry Moon," and it will pass between the Earth and sun this Thursday at sunrise. And bonus... It will be part of an eclipse that will be visible from New England (weather permitting)!
Set your alarm. Although the eclipse begins at 4:38 am, rest easy, because the sun doesn't rise until 5:07. That means if you are facing toward the east/northeast, you should be able to see the eclipse at it's peak starting at 5:33 a.m. The show is over by 6:32.
Add coffee and off to work you go. (or back to bed, if you are lucky)!
