Tim McGraw Honors Daughter Who Graduated From Stanford

Tim McGraw is back in the role of “proud dad” as he commemorates his daughter Maggie graduating from the Master’s program at Stanford University.

Tim took to Twitter today (6/15) to share his delight. He posted along with several pictures of Maggie, “We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May!!!! She graduated from her Master’s program at @Stanford this weekend and what a celebration!!!”

McGraw added, “I have such admiration for her work ethic, her fierce love of her family, and especially her passion to make the world a better place…”

  This is my all-time favorite song from McGraw and I’ll share something personal about it: When my son was about eight, we found this song together and as we drove around Nashville, he was always my “Shotgun Rider.” My boy knew every word of the song and I later asked McGraw himself why I couldn’t get this out of my head and he simply said, “Connection. This song gives you connection.” It sure does.
