Wallet Hub’s Annual List of “Best States To Live In” Is Out And Massachusetts Came In……
Every year Wallet Hub publishes its list of “The Best States To Live In” based on affordability, safety, the economy, health, education, and quality of life.
This year is a bad year for Alaska, which came in 49th. Even worse for poor ol’ New Mexico, which came in dead last at #50. How did Massachusetts do, you ask? We’ll get to that.
Congratulations to New Jersey, formerly known by some as “the armpit of America” (I know because I grew up there). But not anymore because Jersey came in at the top of the list – #1 – THE best state to live in according to Wallet Hub. Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen are freaking out right now and having a tea party.
As for the rest of New England, New Hampshire did well at #8. Vermont came in respectably at #11. Maine took #19. Connecticut came in at #22. Rhode Island didn’t fair too well at # 36. And Massachusetts? Massachusetts came in at #2! Just slightly less-good than New Jersey?? I’ll take it!
We’re #2! We’re #2!! (That sounds kind of gross, nevermind.) We should wear that #2 as a badge of honor. (Again, ew.)
