• Peanut Butter & Jelly

  2 slices of sandwich bread, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and 2 teaspoons of preferred jelly.

• Classic Italian Sub

  1 large Italian sub roll, 1 tablespoon of Italian vinaigrette, 1/2 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1/4 pound of sliced provolone cheese, 1/3 pound of sliced rosemary ham, 1/4 pound of sliced mortadella, 1/4 pound of sliced hot soppressata, 3 tomatoes, thickly sliced, 1/4 small onion, thinly sliced, 1 packed cup of baby arugula, 2 tablespoons of coarsely chopped banana peppers, salt and pepper to taste.

  3 ounces of cream cheese (softened), 4 to 5 flour tortillas, 2 tomatoes (seeded and chopped), 2 avocados (chopped), 2 green onions (chopped), 10 slices of cooked bacon (fried crisp and crumbled), 1/3 cup of ranch salad dressing, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, and 2 cups of mixed salad greens.

• Turkey-Salad Sandwich

  1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon zest, plus 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper, 2 cups of diced roast turkey (a mixture of white and dark meat), 1 large stalk of celery, finely diced (about 1/2 cup), plus 1/4 cup of chopped celery leaves or parsley, 1/2 cup of diced peeled green apple, 1/4 cup of chopped golden raisins, 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, 6 thin slices of rustic bread, toasted, and seedless cucumber, very thinly sliced.

• French Ham and Gruyere Sandwich
