A New York-based Pizzeria and Wine Bar Coming to Newbury Street
If you love to visit New York for the pizza… you’re going to LOVE this new spot opening in Boston!
Double Zero, chef Matthew Kenney’s plant-based pizza joint, will be opening it’s fifth location at 163 Newbury St. in Boston this month. The restaurant specializes vegan versions of classics, such as truffle pizza featuring cashew cream, wild mushrooms, Tuscan kale, and lemon vinaigrette; and artichoke pizza with tomato, spinach, garlic cream, balsamic, and shallots. In addition to the pizza, the menu will also feature some pastas too, like cacio e pepe made with cashew cream and pasta bolognese with walnut mushroom ragout.
“Double Zero brings a healthy perspective to the world’s most popular food. Featuring pizza from a custom built wood burning oven, small plates including our signature tree-nut cheeses, plant-based desserts and a list of organic and sustainable wines from Europe in a warm casual environment,” reads the website.
The new spot, opening on July 9th, will feature a bar, communal seating, and a 200-square-foot outdoor patio. Double Zero will be open Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 9 p.m. Click here to make a reservation.
