Happy 246th Birthday United States Navy!
Today, we celebrate the birthday of The United States Navy. It was established on this day, October 13, in 1775.
In the city of Boston, there was a 21 gun salute on the oldest commissioned warship afloat, The USS Constitution, to honor the brave men and women who have served, and are currently serving. And to all who serve, we thank you for your service to our country and for protecting our freedom.

And, on a personal note, thank you to my husband for your years of service to the Navy!
