Dan + Shay took to their socials today (11/2) to announce that they had to cancel a couple of shows because " a member of our immediate touring party has tested positive for COVID."

As a result, the duo has to cancel upcoming shows in Orlando and Atlanta.

The duo did note that they will have some Christmas "surprises" and that they are also looking forward to opening in 2022 on the Kenny Chesney stadium tour.

After the announcement on Twitter, Dan took to Twitter again to share with fans, "on a hike and trying to respond to as many of y’all as possible (when i have service lol). nothing worse than having to cancel shows. wish we could hug/apologize to every one of you in person. ps - it’s very cold in tn, wish we were gonna be in florida this week Loudly crying face."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
