Luke Combs Says 2021 Tour Has Been The ‘Most Stressful’
Luke Combs was stunned after winning last night’s (11/10) CMA Award for “Entertainer of the Year,” and when he came backstage to talk to the press, he was focused on the many people in his life and career that made the honor possible.
Luke said, “There has to be hundreds of people that made this happen so, I am not sure how to feel yet. I am incredibly excited, overjoyed, like lifetime dream come true.”
Combs also is appreciative of the many people that join him on the road and says that this 2021 tour hasn’t been easy. He offered, “We hit the road super hard this year, and it’s honestly been the craziest, most stressful, strenuous tour that I’ve ever been a part of for a multitude of reasons.”
Luke added, “Obviously, it’s different touring right now with the climate of what’s going on in the world. My team stepped up for me when I needed them to, and that meant so much to me that they were willing to risk their health and safety to go out and play shows for people because I think the world needs that right now. Every show that we’ve done has been incredible. The fans have been so excited to be there. It’s been so amazing to be a part of it every night.”
Combs then said, “It really just feels like it’s for everybody that goes out on the road for me and sacrifices time away from their family and loved ones to do what we do every night. This one’s for them.”
