Some songs are written with specific artists in mind. Russell Dickerson never thought he’d be the one to record and release his latest hit, “Home Sweet.” He believed it to be a perfect fit for Lady A. Conversely, one of his co-writers on the song, Charles Kelly from Lady A, thought it was meant to be a hit for Russell.
