Luke Combs Shows His Reason Why He’s ‘Doin This’
Luke Combs shared a video clip to Instagram that shows just why he’d “still be doin’ this” showing him singing his latest single “Doin’ This” on stage at a concert, and it shows a young boy (about 10-years-old) singing along to every word as Luke sings.
Combs captioned the video, “THIS! This is why I’d still be Doin’ This if I wasn’t Doin’ This!”
Luke says the song came about when people always ask him in interviews what he’d be doing if he didn’t make it big in country music. His answer is always, “I’d still be doin’ this.”
The chorus of the song sings, “I’d have a Friday night crowd in the palm of my hand / Cup of brown liquor, couple buddies in a band / Singin’ them same damn songs like I am now / I’d be feelin’ on fire on a hardwood stage / Bright lights like lightning runnin’ through my veins / At the Grand Ole Opry or a show in some no-name town / I’d still be doin’ this if I wasn’t doin’ this.”
