New Hampshire’s Stunning Ice Castles Are Open For The Season

Sure, it’s going to be a chilly New England winter weekend. But it’s the perfect weather for ice castles!

For the 9th season, North Woodstock New Hampshire’s spectacular, interactive winter wonderland, Ice Castles, is back in business starting today (Friday 1/14/22) at 4:00.

The usual fun activities also return, from slides to tunnels, caves, and fountains that are illuminated at night, the impressive towers of ice are back. Fun-goers can also take a stroll through “lit” forest, and relax and enjoy the illuminated views on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. An ice sculpture garden and illuminated Winter Fairy village are new attractions this year.
