Taco Bell Launches Subscription Program. Here’s How It Works.
Taco Bell has officially launched its new subscription program today (January 6) appropriately called the “Taco Lover’s Pass.”
As previously reported, the “Taco Lover’s Pass” was tested in Fall 2021 at 17 locations in Tucson, Ariz. The subscription allows users to pay a flat fee in order to get one taco a day for up to 30 days. The “Taco Lover’s Pass” is only available via the Taco Bell app and is valid at participating locations. (CNBC notes, “The pass costs around $10 a month, depending on the location.”)
Once purchased, the pass allows app users to access a secret category and chose from one of the following tacos:
-Crunchy Taco
-Crunchy Taco Supreme
-Soft Taco
-Soft Taco Supreme
-Doritos Locos Tacos
-Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme
-Spicy Potato Soft Taco
CNBC noted back in September that with this new subscription, Taco Bell is hoping more customers will download and use their app, build buying habits and, of course, order more food along with that lone taco.
