Mac Jones Entertained In His First Pro Bowl
This Griddy had us all giddy.
Our talented rookie quarterback put on a show of his athletic and comedic skills yesterday in his first Pro Bowl. The Pats’ Mac Jones ran for a fake touchdown in the 4th quarter of the NFL Pro Bowl game yesterday.
Jones and the AFC team held a 41-35 lead in the last minutes of the game, he took a snap on third down at the AFC’s 29 yard line, and turned on the wheels for what he thought was a 71 yard touchdown. Then came the end zone one-man dance party. But wait. Was it?
#10 was actually was ruled down, after just a four-yard gain, as he was in the grasp of a few defenders for the NFC, in the non-tackle exhibition game. Despite hearing the whistle, Mac celebrated by breaking out some moves… dancing the Griddy. which is Minnesota receiver Justin Jefferson’s signature move.
No one in the history of the Pro Bowl has ever had a better time playing in the game than Mac Jones.
